Discount Maxing stores the account information needed to run the service, including email address, name, password hash, subscription status, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, and session records.

Passwords are securely hashed and are never stored in plain text. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on Discount Maxing servers.

The browser extension is designed to avoid collecting card numbers, passwords, names, addresses, phone numbers, or full checkout pages. It uses limited checkout signals such as promo field status, visible totals, coupon status text, and store identity to find and test coupon codes.

Discount Maxing uses Stripe for subscription billing and an email provider for password reset messages. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

Users can manage billing through the Stripe Billing Portal, request password resets from the sign-in page, and contact support at chezkaks@gmail.com.
